What we process
To run a download and keep the service working, TubeFetch processes:
- The YouTube URLs you submit, in order to read available formats and prepare a file.
- Basic technical data such as your IP address, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- Temporary output files created during conversion, deleted automatically within about 1 hour(s).
What we do not do
There are no accounts, so there is no profile to build. TubeFetch does not sell personal information, does not run advertising or tracking pixels, and does not keep a history of what you have downloaded.
How it is used
The data above is used only to:
- Provide the conversion and download you asked for.
- Protect the service from overload and misuse.
- Diagnose errors and improve reliability.
Storage and retention
Converted files are written to temporary server storage and removed automatically after a short retention window — roughly 1 hour(s). Rate-limiting records hold only a counter and a timestamp per IP address, and expire on their own.
Cookies and local storage
TubeFetch sets one cookie to remember your language, and uses browser local storage to remember your light or dark theme. Both are conveniences; neither is used for advertising or shared with anyone.
Third parties
When you submit a link, the server contacts YouTube (and related CDNs) to read the available formats. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts. Your hosting provider and CDN may keep standard server logs.
